Parmenter Farm

Parmenter Farm, a connected farmhouse located at 15 Parmenter Road in Londonderry. Kathy and Steve presently have a caretaker for the home.
We take care of the snow removal, maintenance and lawn.

Should we have an opening in the future the successful applicant will understand this is a antique parts of the historic building dating from the mid 1700's and take care of it as their own.

The style of architecture is connected farmhouse, also known as "Big House, Little House, Back House, Barn."

A extensive renovation was completed in the last year with modern, plumbing, electric and insulation in all but the "Big House" walls.

The caretaker has use of the home and a large yard. We continue to work on the barn and remainder of the 4.5 acres as we can.

All plumbing is new and replaced recently. It has (not shown in this photo) a nice period pedestal sink. Working modern washer and dryer are included.

The "Big House" is a 1/3 - 2/3 house, with this section being the oldest. The "Big House" was originally on Old Nashua Road and relocated to this site in 1875 in one piece by oxen. It was placed onto granate slabs on top of a stone cellar hole.
