Market Basket Expansion May 2010 Londonderry NH

A DeMoulas representative proposed the new plan for Market Basket to the Londonderry Planning Board last night. The plan involved moving the existing Market Basket store into the retail space that used to be Sears Essentials. Sears Essential vacated the building in April of this year, just after Market Basket asked for an extension on their original plan to expand into the vacant retail space next to where their store stands now. When Sears Essentials left, however, DeMoulas could not pass on the opportunity.
