Mack's Stand a bike Destination July 2007
Bikers roll into Moose Hill Orchards and Love our Town!
Although it is quiet around town this forth of July one active group from out of town wheeled its way up from the lower Merrimack Valley in Lowell to Londonderry this morning. Merle Adelman remarked on the tip and Londonderry as a bicycle destination. “We come up here three times a year, the farm always has fresh cool water out for us to refresh and refill for the trip back to Lowell” said Merle. This group of a 20 or so bikers get out every day for a trip of some kind. They travel to Londonderry three times a year. Merle remarked. “The best time to come is in the fall, when all the apples are out and the stand is full of people whenever we arrive.” today they were greeted by just a few out waiting for the Ice Cream stand to open at noon and one lonely duck that kept looking for a hand out of granola.
