Mack's Apples 2010 Pie Contest

Traditional and Non-Traditional winners in the 20th annual Mack’s Pie Contest.
The packing house at Mack’s Apples started to warm up just after 2pm Saturday with the smell of fresh baked pies. Tables were extended another 16 feet to hold the record breaking 70 pies from the central New England region.
The Olympics in Vancouver were not the only place people gathered around and held their breath to find out who would get the bronze, silver and gold this weekend. Held each year in February when the weather is cold, this event breaks a little cabin fever that starts to build up right about now in Londonderry.
