  • Still not showing the entire farm this view provides a glimpse from what is hidden from cars as they travel up route 93 from Boston just 43 miles away. The terraced looking orchard on the right hand side towards the center is Mack's U-Pick 4. The orchard has been grown on the side of the slope. On clear days you can see Boston from the high points of Woodmont Orchard.

  • This view is just about the entire Woodmont Farm, the dark green area on the center left is missing a small piece of the 19 acres on the south west corner of that lot.

The Exit 4 ramp was reconstructed in the last decade and Route 93 was cleared for widening after the last lawsuit ended in the summer of 2009. The park and ride bus terminal can be seen in the center of the parking lot near the southbound exit ramp that leads to 102 east and west intersection.

The Sears Essentials, once a K-Mart is owned by the Woodmont family and sits on approximately 18.6 acres. The building is about 145,000 square feet of retail space presently configured into two stores.

The dark green woodlands on the upper center right is a woodlot for the Estey Saw Mill in Londonderry. • Zooming in on the orchard clearly visible are ladders, apple bins and the fans that keep the blossoms from freezing in the spring. The New England Rocks litter the landscape, some spread through the fields and some moved to piles or constructed into walls. Across the road on the upper left are the U-Pick apples clearly marked with the type they are in each row.

In the upper center the bars of soft small green plants are strawberries, as well as the similar looking planting along adams on the right. The roadway in the center of the image on the back side (closest to the bottom) has Grapes, Then cherries on the left side of the farm road. On the right hand side are raspberries and blueberries along with other plantings for the farm stand. This area also has peaches, plums and other skinless types of fruit.

  • Sunnycrest farm goes back further than you think, bordering Premier Drive on the west side of the farm. Those homes in that neighborhood can be seen at the bottom of this image. The land has been preserved with open space funds providing a agricultural easement. This prevents development with homes similar to those seen around the farm.

  • Nearby Sunnycrest Farm we flew over the intersection of High Range and Wiley Hill Road. If you look closely you can still see where the telephone pole was near the middle of the intersection in the early 1980's.

The barn at the center of the image has a tax abatement on it that encourages preservation. Londonderry has 48 barns in the community.

  • The pastures at the bottom of the image, are used for horses and are rotated for grazing. In the image you can see clearly two horses near the driveway. The large printed images made from these files show great detail. You can even see the tail and main of the horse in a large version!
