Michelle Obama visits Londonderry
On Saturday, October 20th Mrs. Michelle Obama spoke to a crowd to over 175 people at Mack’s Apples while hosting a children’s craft day. Accompany Mrs. Obama were her two daughters, Malia, 9, and Sasha, 6. What a fun idea for the young children, there was face painting, games, a bounce house, and pumpkin carving.
With laughter of happy children and adults Mrs. Obama presented the reasons why her husband is the right man to become the next President of the United States. She spoke on the needs of the middle class. How people are just barely getting by, and the cost of a college education. That Washington needs to start listening to the people. She spoke eloquently and with conviction that Senator Obama will do what is right for America and do right by all of her citizens if elected President. After the speech she took the time to answer questions and have photos taken with all that attended the event.
